Upcoming EVENTS
JOIN US ON APRIL 19!
Want to help give school kids a chance to take what they learned in their school gardens home to their families over the summer?
With enough helping hands working together, we can finish filling seed packets to distribute to all participating partner schools and their students.
We want to encourage sharing the knowledge they learned in school and support growing at home.
The fundraiser starts at 4:30 pm on April 19 and runs until 7:30pm at the wonderful Historic Penn Farm. Food, fun, music and laughter guaranteed! RSVP on our Facebook page. See you there!
This project is funded, in part, by The Laffey-McHugh Foundation.
ABOUT HFHkids
We are “The First State school garden experts!” Our program is designed to fit into the academic year and promote student health throughout their school years.
Our mission: to inspire healthier lives by providing youth with joyful school gardening experiences and opportunities to eat the garden-fresh vegetables they’ve grown.
Our vision: a vegetable garden in every school, leading to generations of healthy families throughout Delaware.
